There is an issue involving Windows 11 and desktop touchscreen devices where Windows switches the device into tablet mode, removing the availability and responsiveness of Capacities interface hover icons. See this bug report: https://capacities.io/feedback/p/invisible-interface-icons . Microsoft has removed the ability to disable this automatic switch to tablet mode, and this makes the Capacities app very much more difficult to use on these devices. To address this, would it be possible to provide a Capacities setting to override its natural response to tablet mode and stay in desktop mode? It seems this affects many people, and for me personally, it is forcing me to turn away from Capacities. This is particularly painful because I have been working on setting up Capacities as a platform for my work with clients and students, with the intention of making it central to our work together, potentially bringing many new customers to the app. I'm realizing that, despite my ability in most cases to work around this limitation, I must hold back on expecting others to have to do that as well. I have no idea whether this is a straightforward solution, easy to implement, but if so, please consider it. At least for now, until Microsoft wakes up and fixes this issue.
