Indentation issue - bullet points

Please have a look at the video attached.
So basically, whenever I am trying to decrease the indentation, Capacities is not only decreasing the indentation but also Pushing it to the next block. This logic is flawed.
NO Document App works like this :
- Google Docs
- Apple Pages
- Microsoft Word
NONE !!
And this is the reason why no app follows this logic : Notice that when I do that with the next bullet points, it eventually CHANGES the sequence of bullet points. So the point at top becomes the point at bottom after decreasing the indent !!
I hope now you realize why this logic is extremely flawed that no other app does this.
Please fix this.
If you have some reasons to stick to this flow only, at least provide a NEW Keyboard shortcut to simply decrease Indent WITHOUT changing its block position.

Unexpected behavior when pressing Enter in a text block before a number of indented ones

When I have a bullet point followed by other blocks, pressing enter in the bullet shifts the rest of the text BELOW the other blocks (or creates an empty bullet below those blocks when the cursor was at the end of the bullet point's text).
That's very unexpected as it is unlike what any other editor would do.
What I'd expect to happen is to have the text in a new bullet ABOVE the other blocks. So I can then change that bullet to be like the other blocks (i.e. remove the bullet and indent).
Use case:
List of bullet points with indented other blocks in between, wanting to shorten the text in the actual bullet and move the remaining text to an indented block directly below the bullet, and then turn the whole shebang into a toggle.

The same issue is captured in https://capacities.io/feedback/p/indentation-issue-bullet-points

I also find this behavior frustrating and disorienting especially when I’m in flow and quickly producing a lot of writing.

+1 on this issue. I'm in the process of migrating from Remnote and find this behaviour very jarring since I intend to use Capacities as an outliner.

This is a HUGE issue for me... This one single thing is making me not want to work in Capacities. If I cancel the subscription and change my entire workflow around another product. This will be the reason why.

Agreed, I also found out this behaviour recently. I'm surprised this is not higher in the voting, since to me it's a major drawback
I found another use case which is strange: with the following situation
* Bullet point A
* Sub bullet A1
if I press "enter" after the first bullet ("A"), the next bullet is inserted at the level of A, below. I would expect to have the next bullet under "A" (at the same level of indentation)

I just came here to report the same thing and add some more detail: It's /really/ hard to get new text to go between Lines 1 and 2. If I go to the start of Line 2 and hit enter to create a new block between 1 and 2 (call it line 1.5) then I shift tab to outdent line 1.5, line 1.5 moves to the line 4 area (argh!)

I also expect different behavior when pressing ENTER at the end of a line, where there are indented sub lines. I would expect, as in all other editors, that it creates a new line directly below where ENTER was pressed. See the difference in Notion and Capacities.
My apologies if this is different than the original request - I believe it's nearly the same issue though.
Thanks!

I'm having the same issue... Steffen Bleher is this a specific setting/intentional or is this a bug? Thank you!

Courtney Chapman This cannot be intentional. None of the other note taking apps behave this way. You press shit-tab or backspace and your whole line disappears, especially if you have a long list, it does off screen so it looks like it just vanishes.
And while they are at it ctrl+home should go to the top of the entire note, not the beginning of the current text block.
