+1 I would find this valuable. I use a weekly note for both planning and lookback.

This would be super helpful - I usually plan my week before planning the days and would love to have this ability in capacities.

This sounded intriguing so I checked out Noteplan but I'm failing to see what it does that couldn't be reproduced pretty easily, albeit with a couple of minor manual steps, by creating a Page or create a Week object type, and embedding the week object in the daily note?

Noteplan has this and its the one feature of Noteplan I wish was in all the other apps I use. I absolutely loved it. Would love to have it in Capacities.

This is a critical piece of my goal setting and life planning workflow.

Being able to link to these discrete blocks of time would be a big benefit as I get deeper into Capacities!

I love the way the Daily Note is implemented with the timeline and calendar, but in my personal workflow, I prefer to work on a Weekly + Monthly level. I would love to see this being extended so I can also have a weekly overview (maybe with a per-day grouping or Kanban-style view) while allowing me to easily move content blocks from one day to another.

I would like the same thing! I currently have this set up in my Notion and it's very helpful to be able to digest daily journals at these different levels.

My use case would be documenting the tasks I need to get done this week. On the a day I plan to work on it I could link to the specific block but use the week note as the reference list rather than all of my todos.

It would allow us to have dedicated notes for our annual, quarterly and weekly goals.

This would be a game changer for many users I think.

Currently I store my goals in pages in Capacities. But it would be much more intuitive to store them in the same place as my daily notes and to be able to use the Capacities calendar.

This is a feature that has just appeared in NotePlan3 (for information).

I had the same idea. This would enable workflows for i.e. historians where they can link an event to a year and not necessarily a specific date. Would also allow for yearly and monthly goals.
