Using /task in a pop-up view of a record creates a new task, but closes the pop-up view of the record

Very annoying, I want to continue in the pop-up. But this interaction force me to find and reopen it every time i add a task with /task. Note that using () to create the task does not do this.

Beth Qaid is talking about something different i think, the task entry box staying open for further tasks.
I'm talking about this, where i open the object in pop-up and add a task, but adding the task closes the "prompt" object i was working from. Forcing me to re-open it again after making the task - which is super annoying.

Sean Evans you're right, what you're pointing out is different and looks more like a bug. What I'm pointing out should probably be categorized under an "Improvement" request - sorry if I've added noise to the convo.

I also find this a missed opportunity for productivity especially when I am working from the keyboard.
I would love to be able to finish typing the Task name and then have the ability to save that and close the pop-up or to save and create a new task in the same open pop-up. Perhaps a keyboard modifier like
⌘+⏎
could trigger the save and create new in the same pop-up behavior?
