This page would probably benefit from an explanation about image link and if they are downloaded as assets in capacities or not.
What I'm thinking is that we should know if, by adding an image to a doc using an image link hosted on a server, the image is downloaded in our collection.
At least I think it would be great to :
  • Update doc as to the behavior of hosted image using image URL (mirror ? Downloaded in our vault ? just link and disappear if source is down ?)
  • Differentiate "downloaded" in Capacities server content from externally hosted content. Maybe allow to download with a click on an externally hosted image in a note ? For now the workaround is to look for image without a title, but we might benefit from a clearer approach ? Or maybe just a documented one.
