Task queries filtered by Context objects

You cannot create a Query of Tasks that is filtered by Context objects. For example, if I add People into the Context box, I would like to create a Query (or Section) of Tasks per person.

I support this request. My use case. Usually I work on project basis so I just open the project and have everything there. But there are some tasks, like, schedule an appointment, revisit your project list, that do not have their project so I need to be able to query tasks, those context does not include object type "Project".

Allow a link to tasks connected to a particular object (i.e. context)

It would be really helpful to be able to link to tasks for a particular object, e.g. a person. I have templates created for meetings with people I meet with on a regular basis. It would be great to have an embedded link to tasks that are connected to that person so that I can remember to raise it with them if needed. Currently I need to remember to open the persons object whilst on the call to view these.

I understand you can drill into a specific project or person to see all the tasks associated with them. But let's say I want to see all the tasks associated with my team of 3 people. my filter would say give me all tasks where the context is John Smith or Jane White or Jay Riley. Or maybe I want to see all task that are related to people (delegated) or just tasks associated with projects. Is this not an option? Why not make context a filterable object? (BTW Love what you put together so far).

Erik Thorne this is exactly what I am referring to. In the standard Tasks views, there is a Context filter where you can select ALL objects that have been added as Context. This works but is not a static view. It resets periodically. Making static queries (or similar) is ideal.

In the standard Task Views I can indeed use the Context Filter to see all tasks that have been added to a context. But if i want to filter my list to a specific Type of Context - say a list of tasks connected to Projects, I cannot do t hat. I can do that if i go into a specific project, to see all the tasks associated with Project ABC, but I don't seem to be able to say give me all the tasks that are associated any Project (and exclude tasks that are only assigned to the People context). A good scenario would be i like to keep the context of meeting on my tasks, but may want to filter out my view of tasks to NOT include the meeting they originated from because it's just too much noise.

Hi Steve, if you go to the task tab in the person page you will see this.

Beth Not sure this closes the topic - as we are looking for something slightly different I think.

Erik Thorne: Hi Erik, I re-opened it this morning, this is an old status update.
