Show current object type first when adding new content

When I use "+New" inside an object type dashboard, the corresponding object type should appear at the top of the list – currently I have to search for it every time.

Hi there, could you please elaborate on what you exactly mean?
The button on the top right of a object dashboard will always create a new object of that type.
The global "+ New content" button at the top of the left sidebar will always show the full list of available object types.

Hello Michael von Hohnhorst,
thank you for your precise questions. I understand what you mean by my imprecision. I'll be happy to clarify that.
The idea that when I'm on the object type (dashboard!), I want a new post that also automatically belongs to the object type in question, as you described it. Works just as well. But...
Only if I am in any post (of an object type such as "definitions") and want new posts for "definitions", I have to select the object type first. And this object type of "definitions", in which I am currently located, is at the bottom of the list. I have to search for it and find it to get the corresponding post.
This is not as fast as creating a new post when it is on a dashboard to create it. Ideally, the object type I am looking for (such as "definitions") would automatically be at the top of the list.
