Request: pages remember and restore their scroll location on reload

Switching from one page to another usually results in reloading pages and if a page is very long and your are in the middle of it, it will jump to the top of the page. It is time consuming and sometimes hard to scroll back to where it was. A good example of this is using a pdf in a tab and want to switch to daily note to take notes but when you get back to the pdf you already lost the position of your last reading.

Scrolling should not reset

Leaving a tab and returning causes the scroll bar to reset to the top. This occurs even if I go to a different tab and leave the original in place. It's maddening on long pages. For instance, I'm trying to fix duplicate tags (which is hard enough without the ability to merge tags). I'm doing it in new tabs to avoid having to use the back arrow - but even with this approach, it still resets the scroll bar. Supposedly this was fixed, but it clearly isn't.

This is planned for PDFs. Should be the case already for other content (e.g. Pages). But also not supported in data views yet where the pagination always jumps back to the start.

Michael von Hohnhorst: Yes I noticed most content keep their position however this doesn't work for daily notes (at least in calendar view). My daily notes are very long and switching table reset their position.

Siavash Sarrafan: You're right. I'll add it to the list. 👍
