Currently, there is no option to hide the menu bar (file, edit, ...) under windows. I'd argue that this really (unnecessarily) drags down the otherwise clean UI.

If I remember correctly, Capacities was built with electron, so after a very quick search I've found a suggestion on how to remove it on Stack Overflow:

I've seen there was another open issue about exactly this on here, but it seems like it slipped under your radar as it's been a while since that was opened. So this is a reminder about it :)
