Although I have not changed anything, Capacities is no longer synchronising my highlights. I have attempted to trigger synchronisation again by manually tagging ‘capacities’. Unfortunately, this was unsuccessful.

Hi Christoph Keller, please verify the space and sync tag name are set correctly. If that's the case:
- What's the readwise source you're using? reader, kindle...?
- Do new documents not get created, or is the error that new highlights are not added to already-created documents in Capacities?

I primarily use Reader as a source for online articles. That's where I highlight things.
For books, I often use the manual entry function in the main Readwise app.
Neither existing documents are updated nor new documents are transferred. The sync keyword is also no longer automatically added to Readwise, as it was originally set up.
In the screenshot, you can see my setup for my space.

Hi Luis,
I have tried several times to reconnect. Once a new article was synchronised, then it got stuck again somewhere. I tried manually removing the sync keyword and adding it again, and adding a new highlight to get the synchronisation going again. Unfortunately, no success so far.

I see you have "Sync all new items" enabled - this completely ignores the tags you've applied in Readwise and instead only uses the sync tag to apply it within Readwise once something has been ingested, but it doesn't filter anything in the ingestion process.
We just pushed a potential fix in the backend. Please check if it works now, otherwise it'd be awesome if you could test the following:
- Could you try checking if the integration works fine with the "Sync all items" option off and applying tags manually?
- Do manual imports work well and import all highlights? Command palette > Import from Readwise.
- If the two above work, try reactivating "Sync all new items" and verify if new highlights are still not coming through - are there many highlights coming in at once?

Unfortunately, I can't see any change.
I disabled the ‘Sync all items’ function and highlighted some text in a new article in Reader. Then I added the sync keyword. After 15 minutes, there was still no article in Capacities.
I don't quite understand your second question. Where should I import manually? (Command palette > Import from Readwise -> dont know what you mean)

Please delete the integration again and reconfigure, we've noticed a Readwise API error with authentication for some users and reached out to their team to help diagnose. Perhaps creating the integration again and re-authenticating in their system helps.
About the manual imports, when you open search (Cmd+P/Cmd+K, or clicking on the search icon in the top left) you can search for actions, like Import from Readwise. There you can select a specific document you want to manually bring from your Readwise/Reader library.

I have re-established my connection to Readwise. Unfortunately, the documents are still not being transferred to Capacities. But your tip about manual import is at least a temporary solution. Thank you for that! I would be interested to hear how things progress.

Could you try removing the integration (Readwise Integration > Active Connection > Delete) and checking if new or modified highlights now get correctly imported?
