Quick Capture to today note

It would be cool to have a prompt to quickly add thoughts to the today note. Example is from Tana.

With the most recent update, you can now use the command palette so save something to today's daily note. It will appear as an option at the bottom.

Steffen Bleher: this works great, thanks!

it would be even bestest if one could quick capture (one click; one +-button); and
only afterwards assign note to a particular space.
the greatest source of friction within Capacities currently is the initial need to first navigate to the target space ... before anything can really be jotted down (–a restriction following the preset condition that notes simply cannot change spaces

vision assemblies: Perhaps you could select the target space in advance (e.g. work). Or put them as new note items in an inbox for later processing.

It would be even better if these could be time stamped and/or inserted into the daily note in a designated section (e.g. under the heading Inbox).

It would be great if this could also have a global shortcut for the desktop apps (e.g. Cmd + Opt + Space) that would work outside Capacities. This is used for Mem.ai and Things and just means you can be working in another app and quickly pull up a prompt to jot a quick note that goes into the daily note. This might also be achieved using Shortcuts on the Mac.

Hello Capacities team!
I think this option could be integrated into the Command Bar/Palette. At the moment, we can add pasted text to the daily note using the command bar/palette but when we write right into the command bar/palette this option is not shown so we can't add quick notes to the daily note. Is it possible to add this option?
Thanks for your support and great work.

Herman Sandoval: I guess that's a great idea! Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the kind words.

QUICK CAPTURE IS KEY FOR ME!!
Great app! I know there are email, Twitter, “WhatsAaaaaap Everybody” integrations and a Chrome / (Safari 😜) extension planned. (Please reference reflect.app’s Chrome extension for a starting point)
For my notes, quick capture is essential. My best flow for my ADHD brain is to be able to capture, similar to how I do it in the TickTick productivity app. On my Apple Watch, there is a little icon (called a complication) that I press, hit the voice record button, and a text to speech note gets jotted down and funneled into that apps inbox for processing later.
I have quick add widgets on my phone as well. This guy has some cool ideas https://fulcra.design/Posts/An-Obsidian-Homescreen-for-iPhone-and-iPad/
However, if those would all take way too long in development, how about getting listed in If This Then That (ITTT.com) or Zapier? Then we can just use what we’re already using and connect it over to you to get our notes quickly captured that way instead.
Either way, for me, Quick Capture is essential:
On my watch
When I’m on the go
For fleetinge thoughts
I don’t want to let go
Voice to text
You do the rest
I process them later
Don’t be a hater 😊

This would be very handy whith the addition of the task management.
A lot of apps (such as todoist, things3, ticktick) have this feature and it's invaluable to avoid switching contexts.
You can go a step ahead and "get insipred" by things3 ability to capture the URL of the website you are visiting when capturing (on the desktop version)

Merged in a post:
Move blocks to daily note from everywhere

For example, if I'm working on a page, but I remember something I need to do later, that's not related to the page I'm on. It would be great to press the + button on the side menu or top right and instead of creating a brand new page with just one through or to do, to add a quick block that gets added into the Daily Note to sort or expand on later.
Right now I would need to leave my page to go to Daily notes, write down what I want to write there, then return to the page I was working on previously.

I think these two requests are connected: https://capacities.io/feedback/p/quick-capture-to-today-note
