Beth This is still an issue on Capacities v1.54.4; none none; Mac OS v10.15.7; Chrome v134.0.6998.88 (WebKit v537.36); Desktop (Electron); 10/21/2025, 8:03:39 PM; en (America/Chicago, UTC-5)
I have tried to export with embedded backlinks to get a good pdf overview - none of the embedded views exported on the pdf
I tried to export a collection in csv with 'content' toggled on - did not export the content of the objects.
Beth
DéAun Johnson: The embedded views won't show on a PDF and content should be in subfolders to the csv export:

Beth There an option to
"Include embedded content: all content that is displayed as embed will become part of the export", this alludes to the fact that embedded objects would be visible in a pdf?
I am new so trying to understand.
Is there a way I can get a good pdf for all my objects? I have objects like: features, ideas, brainstorms, meetings, etc that then link to a specific project object. I want to create a pdf that has a report of : all features in project A in a nice readable pdf.
I love the object note taking idea - but this will hold me back from fully committing if I can get an easy report like this.

Unfortunately this bug is present since a while (summer), including the dreaded [...loading bug]. I just tried again after the recent update. Capacities always claims there is no space left (which is wrong...) or that not all content is present. Which is weird too.
Hide empty properties is checked.
However, I played a bit around when exporting and unchecked by hand all properties (26 in total) which are not in use/empty. And it exports fine.
But, having to uncheck every single empty property by hand.. is a bit time consuming :-) ;-)
On another page (my KnowledgeBase object) I have "only" 9 properties. When exporting, I don't need to unselect the empty ones - it works fine.
And one file (my outline - large table with links to characters of the story) I can't export at all. A few weeks ago Capacities exported it as empty file (...loading), now it claims not all content is available and not enough space... which is not the case (my ssd is large enough)
in short: it feels as if the error shows up when too many empty properties are in a file I want to export.

I can't reproduce this, could you give me an idea of what is in the page so I can test?
