Object, Collection, backlink numbers not accurate

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but my collection numbers are often not accurate. In the screenshot, for instance, there are 0 cartoons, but when I click through there are four, and when I come back the number updates, but often goes back to being 0 arbitrarily.
I am using the macOS desktop app, and I believe it's the latest version.

It still only updates the count when clicking on an entry. BTW, how do I know which release is active?

This is part of Release 27. Read more here: https://capacities.io/whats-new/release-27

Steffen Bleher: Release 27 appears not to fix the issue that I posted about below. My Slip object counts are still wrong, and the All view still fails to load.

Steffen Bleher: here's a bit more info: I noticed to day that when going to "Daily notes": there are 3 items in "recently opened" and when going to "All" view, there are only 2 items. So, it's not that one of the 3 daily notes is lost (because I can open it from the Dashboard), but it should be visible in "All" and it isn't

I have the same problem with an additional symptom:
- The counter in the left sidebar reports that I have 39 Slip objects.
- All the Slip objects belong to the Zettelkasten collection. The counter in the left sidebar for the Zettelkasten collection reports that it contains 24 Slip objects.
- The dashboard for Slip objects fails to load the All view.
The symptoms are the same across the macOS desktop app and the web browser.

Item Count in Collections unreliable

When you open a database in the sidebar, the counter below a collection's name ist supposed to indicate the number of items in a collection, right? If yes, this number is highly unreliable and changes constantly, for instance when entering a collection and going back to the database overview.

For me it's more that the heading for "pages" or the tag overview doesn't correctly report the number of objects until you've clicked on the heading. Even then it can take a while for all the objects to appear, which gives the impression that you might have lost something. I've also created 10 Collections. They appear correctly in the "pages" dashboard, but on the tags dashboard I'm told I don't have any.

Paul Brasington: I get a similar issue, for example: in daily notes. I deleted 3 daily notes from my Capacities on PC (webapp) and when opening Capacities on my Mac (also webapp) I still see the 3 daily notes I had deleted. Even refreshing the page doesn’t do the trick.
I then loaded capacities on my iPad: there I see 1 of the 3 I had deleted, the 2 others don’t appear.
Then I tried opening from the Mac app: here I see 2 of the 3 I had deleted… very strange
I’ve noticed similar sync issues with other objects before. Usually going to the dashboard, then switching the view to « All » fixes it, but not for the example above.
Edit: even emptying the cache from Safari didn’t solve it

There is definitely a bug here (although it's not a burning problem) -
- screenshot 1 dashboard view of "daily notes", showing a note that I deleted a few days ago
- screenshot 2 is the "all" view of "daily notes"
When I click on the object "July 1" in the first screenshot, it says 'object deleted' and dissapears from the dashboard view. Closed and reopened Capacities: it's now gone.
All this is from the web app, on PC.

I experienced another issue today related to the above: I created a daily note (on mobile), when I open Capacities on Web (from PC), it shows up in the dashboard view of "daily notes" but not in "all". I refreshed the browser, it's still the same. Hope this helps
