Notion-like tables

The table view in Capacities raises the intriguing prospect of viewing object data in Notion-like (or Tana-like) tables. A "Project" list with "Current" projects at the top, followed by "Up Next", "On Hold", "Completed", "Cancelled", "Archived", etc. And perhaps even grouped by "Current Quarter", "Next Quarter", etc.
Or viewing a table of Books sorted by "Reading", "Up Next", "On Hold", "Completed", etc.
Notion achieves this with user-defined tags or attributes for each property and the ability for the user to manually define the sort order.

Hi Doug Smith,
With the last couple of updates, most of what you've outlined here is now possible! 🥳
- We've shipped label properties (which are very similar to Notion's single/multi-select properties) – https://capacities.io/whats-new/release-52
- Together with the recently added "Group by" option, and the existing filter and sort options, you can build tables like in Notion. – https://capacities.io/whats-new/release-53
Manual sorting for individual items is not possible, though. But you can change the order of groups if you use our group-by feature.
We'll be marking this ticket as complete now! ✅
If there are specific functionalities still missing around tables and data views, please create specific tickets for them. 🙏
