Nested Tags / Hierarchy for tags

Add tags hierarchy so we can tag items very granuarly like #recipe/breakfast and #recipe/dinner which can all be viewed under #recipe.

For Pro users, this will be solved by the "In progress" added feature of AND operations for tag queries, which will enable searching for objects with multiple specified tags:

i absolutely support this request!
Currently i'm using nested tags manually with the quoted syntax.
Just a couple of examples:
- "#recipe / breakfast"
- "#recipe / dinner"
- "#recipe / dinner / meat"
- "#recipe / dinner / vegan"

Nesting of collections is also very practical and important! Please consider

Don't you think the ability to "tagging a tag" would provide a great solution to this issue? It would be totally in line with the third heuristic presented by Seffen Bleher in his thread about tagging https://x.com/steffenBle/status/1499119720758497280

I think that nesting for all object types are just as important as nested tags. Tana has a feature for “extending” supertags (object types) that sets the default properties for the nested tag the same as the parent tag, with the option to add additional properties. This functionality would make Capacities so much more powerful.

– is there a rough time horizon for this?
– asking bec I am already doing a lot of the advised pre-shaping in form of 'x/y'-tags ☺

I guess the workaround to do this is Grouping some tags with similar Tag Description and then Creating Query with Filtered Description. Then Pinning it to Dashboard with a higher up hierarchy group tag name.

And nesting for collections too!

I wonder if this will be implemented as ability to "tag a tag".
With this I think we can achieve something more than hierachy.
- Tag Network
This will allow us to create network of tags, and hopefully we will have graph view for that. It will basically be what's great about graph view in network-note but now from bird eye view.
- Infinite presence, and depth of hierarchy
From hierarchy perspective, this will allow us to put a tag under multiple other tags (hierarchically) so they are not just bounded to one area. We can also go infinite layer of hierarchy without X level limitation.
