Losing data when copy-pasting a text with paragraphs into a Text Field

When I paste a text that has paragraphs into a Text Field, I only get the first paragraph. The rest is not there (I did copy it). Why do you do this? Is there a work around or will this be fixed in the future. (SWLSimple)
