"Hide when empty" doesn't work on new label properties

When I mark the visibility for the new label property in version 1.52.4 as "Hide when empty", the property continues to be visible all the time, even when there is no label selected.

Why does it still show up even when it's empty? I want it to be hidden when the content is empty.

Visibility > "Hide when empty" does not work on Labels
C

I'm experiencing this problem in the up-to-date desktop app on Windows 11.
I just added Labels to my Article object, and I set them to "hide when empty" in the object properties screen. I double-checked from the Object screen: it says "hide when empty", but, well, it's empty, and it's visible.
This occurs with both existing and brand-new Article objects: I just created a new one from nothing (New Content > Article), haven't filled anything in anywhere, and Status (the label) is there. I go to check the Visibility setting, and it's set to "hide when empty".
It's a single-select with three options right now. AI autofill was never turned on.
(Also, I love the Labels, thank you so much. I love this app.)
