Helper Tool "Capacities would like to install a new update" bug

anyone else keep getting the "Helper tool install" popup? I've been getting it nonstop for days. I keep allowing it and restarting the app and it's still not stopping...I don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall but I will if that's the only option.

This is also occurring for me! I have limited admin permissions (once per week) on my work Mac and it pops up at least 5 times per day, and takes focus from what I am typing mid-block.

For me too it‘s a pain to update. I have to find the right moment to quit the app… On Intel, Ventura (last). I‘m working with a standard user for security reasons. May be there is a problem. Thow in other apps the upgrade process is much smoother… I think, the updater helper tool shoud quit the app and do the update, then restart the apo again. as most apps do.

The installation window as shown in Jared Koon´s post just started to show up again in an endless loop. It re-appears every 10-30 minutes, which is kinda annoying. Is there any progress beeing made on this issue? I already re-installed the app the last time the issue appeared and it´s located in the applications folder on macOS.
Beth
Jochen Kranzer: We can't reproduce this. We updated again yesterday, did the loop continue to occur?

Beth Thank you for looking into the issue. I re-installed Capacities and now I´m waiting for the next update, since it appears to only happen on update attempts. So far, it didn´t occur again. I will let you know, if it reappears.

I'm having this happen too. Even with approving it, it will keep popping back up. I do notice when leaving my laptop running for a while that when I come back it has to be approved or cancelled at least twice (perhaps multiple times).
This is on a M1 MBA, running Sequoia 15.1.1. Capacities is installed in Applications.
