I would love to be able to take handwritten notes / draw directly in the app, or even on embeded medias, and to draw links between differant objects

YES I CAN'T WAIT. It may not be the same experience as xournal because capacities use electron but i at least hope the stylus buttons will work fine.(eg wacom has 2 buttons on the pen, and customizing them to be erase and highlight is great). Also, I hope they won't forget the pdf file's note can be made canvas/handwritten, not just text mode.
this feature might be hard to implement with graphics tablet support but pls don't forget us linux users :)

Would also love this function. Maybe just have the capacity to add a handwritten text block inside a note ... Otherwise often is my train of thought disrupted by the need to switch to typing

Does the capacities app have ability to take in handwritten text from a stylus on an e-ink tablet?

to eliminate the need to carry my laptop everywhere, and in scenarios where a laptop is not in quick reach, can i use my e-ink tablet to quickly pen down important info. will all the functionality and shortcuts still work? even if it doesn't accept the handwritten notes directly, can it convert it to text as the user writes?
this will be a huge blessing and certainly revolutionary.

A very important consideration

I noted that one of the biggest issues with capacitites is the fact that I have to sit to type my input.
the whole essence is to ensure fluidity and easy writing, it won't be sensible to take pages of school notes and start to spend extra time to put it into capacities.
i am simply recommending a handwritten-to-text feature. the best thing that can happen to capacities is to consider a partnership with reMarkable. imagine reMarkable running capacities os on start-up, things will be so different and it will spark a century revolution.
please kindly take this into consideration. until then i will stick to my paper notes

Handwritten annotations, notes, and drawn links is a must-have for me. I’m trying to figure out which PKM app to go with and so far this is the main issue for me with Capacities as someone who works almost exclusively on a tablet and is an artist/visual thinker who likes to blend clean organized systems with appealing visuals.

Putting so much effort into a mobile application and not considering developing a handwritten object type is such a waste of opportunity.

For that, there are other apps, like OneNote.

Wesley Jensen.. But I am searching for an alternative. I don't want to support American tech giants.

I think this would be a great idea. It could start off simple where one of the Zettels could be a whiteboard and can be saved as an image or something like that. I use the drawing function a lot as it helps me to remember. Additionally as it progresses AI could extract text from it and highlight specific items. For example if anyone has used Microsoft Journal it can key in on specific icons/drawn images.
