Email Forwarding not Working for New Space

I recently have started to set up a new space that follows the PARA system by Tiago Forte. (Thanks Beth for your great tutorial! ^_^) However, I am now having an issue that even though I have changed my email to go to the new space, it is still going to the original default space by default. I have gone into settings and selected the new space from the dropdown list, but it still won't go through. Can someone help me to resolve this issue?

Could you try changing back the configuration to the default setting, reloading the app, and changing it back again?

Luis Martín - Here are the steps I followed. I set the email workspace back to the original default space. I hit the reload app button. Once the app reloaded, I opened email preferences again and changed the workspace to my desired work space for email. I then forwarded a test email to the save@capacities.io but it still was sent to my old original workspace and not the new one I am trying to set up as my main default workspace.
