draw.io integration

I like to do draw.io diagrams. Maybe this feature request is over the top but it would be super cool to embed those diagrams within Capacities.
The way I imagine this working is like this visual studio code extension:
The really cool thing is that you can embed all the diagram information in svg or png
Maybe this would make it even easier to just reference one file for editing and rendering
Some pkm tools have a mermaid integration, but imo it's too limiting most of the times.

I agree that this feature doesn't seem to be completed. If you create a draw.io diagram and save it to disk (ie: create a file with a .drawio file extension) and then embed it in a page in Capacities, it just shows up as a file link and doesn't render correctly.
Perhaps the feature that was implemented is related to an integration with the draw.io web based tool, however it seems pretty clear that support for embedded drawio files created on the local machine does not work.
I would love to see this feature, or something similar, where diagrams could be created and embedded in a page or other similar objects. imo it is pivotal to be able to create graphical / geometric representations of information within notes. If this can be achieved with a fairly ubiquitous tool like drawio, then perhaps adopting a more generic solution like mermaid markdown diagrams would work.

Steffen Bleher: Thanks, but this isn't two-way editing/viewing as is possible in Obsidian? Can't edit and save.

Great suggestion. Did you try to paste a share link of one of your diagrams and change the view to embed? Did that work?
