Dividers in the sidebar

I'd love to be able to organize my sidebar further using simple dividers in the Pinned section.

With the latest update, it is now possible to create multiple custom sections in the left sidebar to group related object types, tags, queries, collections or individual objects for fast access.

Multiple Pinned Sections 🎉
- Create multiple custom pinned sections in the left sidebar
- Customize each with a name and icon
- Rearrange sections freely via drag-and-drop
- One-click option to sort items within a section alphabetically
- Add any object or object type to a custom pinned section using the "Pin to Space" menu option

Beth does this also apply to the iOS app? I still see the old layout (pinned, objects). My section aren’t visible.

With the recent addition (v1.57.23) allowing us to create Custom Pinned Sections, this is effectively solved for me.

This would make objects way easier to navigate

I would like to be able to hide certain objects. For example Files (and PDFs, Images etc.) are more back office objects. They are not needed on a daily basis. I rather link to them or embed them but rarely access them the same way as ex. Projects, Pages, Daily notes etc.
So the left sidebar would have three categories: Pinned, Objects, Hidden.

I thing also dividers might we sorted inside of it. Sorting might be implemented to sort inside dividers not as a whole.
For example before sorting

Books
Pages
Articles

initiatives
areas

After alphabetic sorting
--------
Articles
Books
Pages
-------
areas

Feature Request: Implement Dividers in the object type sidebar

As a user with many object types, 13 to be exactly, it would be visually pleasing to offer a "divider" object to help alleviate the list of objects blending together too much. For now, a user must create a dud object type which is not ideal

I second this. I see several posts on here about being able to better organise the sidebar. While I understand that implementing a hierarchy for the objects is probably not the way to go and a bit against the Capacities viewpoint, it would be nice to just be able to visually separate different objects.
For example, I use just one space in Capacities for almost everything in my life, personal as well as professional. I now created a few 'dummy' objects with lots of lines and a description: "--------GENERAL-------" or "------MEMORIES-------" or "------ENTERTAINMENT------". While I do not strictly need the description, I would be very happy just to have a basic way of dividing these objects into larger groups. A simple divider line would do the trick.

I think this would be fantastic for the entire sidebar, not just the pinned section. Even if we could just have a simple divider separating the basic object types from the custom ones.

I second this and/or add a toggle option so we can have multiple toggles in the object menu. Pinning, creating MOC, etc, isn't always an option. Presently, I'm using a couple of objects with a line in the title to create this effect.
