Displaying objects as a list of embeds doesn't work on the Mac app

On the Mac desktop app, Version 1.57.14 (1.57.14), when I:
- Click on an object type from the side bar
- Change the display/view type to "Embed"
- Toggle open an embed for an object that should have content
- I see nothing, just empty space
What's strange is that this bug doesn't happen in the webapp, only on the desktop app.
