Customize Calendar Sidebar

I use the Daily Note extensively and now use the Calendar Sidebar as a quick reference to key activities for the day. It would be great to be able to customize the list of items beneath the calendar, specifically to be able to hide some elements that are not relevant for me, re-order item categories, etc. Even better, would be able to interact directly with items either with a right click or to have a click (optionally) pop up the item for a quick review or action.

Date references in Calendar sidebar

I noticed that Notes that reference a date show up below the Daily notes in "Date references" and now also on the right sidebar under the calendar. To me, this is redundant and I only want to see my events below the calendar. This creates visual clutter in the sidebar if you have many objects referencing this date. I would prefer to have only calendar events in the sidebar.

I would also love to have the ability to KEEP the Calendar on the sidebar just like you can with objects. I only ever use the "Day" version of the calendar because it's the only one with the sidebar. But I would absolutely use the other 3 day and week, Calendar views or navigate other objects with my Calendar Sidebar open if I could.

A way to re-order the lists/panels that appear under the calendar at the top of the sidebar would be greatly appreciated.
I just activated a calendar integration and my appointments currently show under the list of date references. It would make more sense (to me) to have them under the appointments.
Alternatively or additionally, an option to hide specific lists/panels or to collapse and expand them would be helpful.
