Create collection from search not working using some common UTF-characters

Open an object to see the list of objects
Looking at the table of items, click inside the box of collections for that object of any row
Search box will pop up allowing me to enter text
If I enter "V", it will offer to "Create "V"".
If I continue typing "Väska" then the option to "Create ..." will vanish

Right clicking object and adding new category that way works, but not quick adding via the table view of an object.

TLDR: "Vaska" can be quick created via search popup, "Väska" cannot.
