Collapsible Bulletpoint

It would be nice if we can collapse the bulletpoints, rather than switching between toggle/bulletpoints. Or perhaps, make it so that only one block can have either bulletpoint or toggle, since having both bulletpoint/toggle makes no sense, and it's just extra work to reformat it to just have either one.

I suggest to check on the latest Evernote version (10.8+) where they did a great work (collapsible not only headings but bullets at every level too and by default).

We'll ship an update where you can set bullet points to be used as toggles. However, headings will only be collapsible when they have a toggle.

Yep, I really love this feature from Amplenote, though only for Headers. Maybe that could be something that we can configure.
Collapse for:
- Headers
- Bullet points
- etc.

Could this be more fold bullets or headers? I’m happy to just collapse headers in prose as well as bullet points. I find having to set a toggle a bit annoying (it’s the same in Craft).
Folding on headers (as well as parent bullets) as obsidian and amplenote do would be great.

i would add to this what i previously mentioned, having to use toggles as bulletpoints adds a lot of frictions since unlike bulletpoints, the user need to add each individual toggle (in the use case of bullepoints). and adding toggles in the first place requires to have shift being held in unlike just pressing one button for the bulletpoints.
The best case scenario fix:
- removing the current toggle function
- making all blocks collapsible including bulletpoints
- Doing this by creating a side line bar beside each block on the left, that on hover popsup, the same is true for when a whole block is selected.
- doing that would also mean better way of selecting via touch (on mobile, web, tablets.) just by holding one of the sideline dots and then moving down to select per block.

I'd absolutely love to see 'Unknown User's ideas above taken up!
The whole separation of toggle vs bullet never made any kind of sense to me ... and even with the "toggle style = bullet" option set on, there are still some differences/oddities (just within "bullet-looking" trees, never mind the possibility of having 'Heading 1' blocks at two different levels of indentation depending on if they're also a toggle or not).
In my ideal scenario, the concept of a specific 'toggle' disappears and it simply becomes that ANY block that has children (i.e. at a more-indented or lower-heading level) can be collapsed. This could/would even include simple text blocks (that have bullets or just more-indented text blocks under them), as well as all headings and bullets at all (non-leaf) levels.
Assuming no symbol appears when something is expanded, those people who aren't interested in using "toggles" wouldn't really notice any difference, while those who prefer more of an outliner-style approach get simpler and more consistent (& powerful) functionality.
