Agree with the comments here. This will be wonderful to prioritise and implement, especially as it allows people to move away from big tech monopolies and support other services that allow them to have better control over their information.

Amen, Erik. I think small developers, in particular, need to prioritize solutions that enable users to migrate away from the proprietary infrastructures of the big American service companies. As the US amps up its predatory political behaviour, many of us are looking to escape the clutches of its techno-oligarchy. This is particularly true for someone like myself in Canada, a country Trump has threatened to take over and Musk calls not "real." We need options that don't require us to align informationally with the largest service economy in the world. Promotion of open standards is a great way to move as then we are not encumbered by a reliance on proprietary technologies that are ultimately controlled by the world's largest, most powerful authoritarian regime.
