Bug: Objects in dropdowns jiggle around making it easy to select the wrong item

items in dropdowns shouldn't change places. Currently they do, so it is easy to mis-select something because it changes just as you are selecting it.

I experience this on all platforms and often end up selecting the wrong item or have to wait. Slows down input quite a bit.
