To reproduce:

Write /co -> automatically completes to Code, Icon, etc.

Click anywhere else in the page

Result: the pop up window with the block types remain open, and there is no way of editing anything in the page.

The only way out I found is to select that new "object" (:: dots on the left), and select the object again
