BUG - cannot type and edit text

I am unable to consistently type in a normal capacities page. In certain circumstances. Not all the time.
Here are some experiences
- While typing, the text will act like I pressed "Undo" deleting the last handful of characters. (but I never pressed undo or backspace), I simply kept typing
- While typing the cursor will jump to the beginning of the line.
- While navigating a line, (left arrow, right arrow), ctrl+left/right to jump, ctrl+home/end, Shift to highlight, etc. it jumps to unknown places or doesn't receive the input.
Observations about when.
- It seems that on a new page, if I just start typing there are more issues.
- If I leave a page open, wait a bit, then type, it seems there are less issues.
- sometimes I cannot type more than 5 words. If I wait about 1 minute before typing anything, then it seems to behavior better.
- sometimes I don't see the problem for

Steffen Bleher is there an update on this issue? I've recently started actively using Capacities (generally very positive!) and noticing some editing issues - this seems closest as an existing thread.

Paul Mackay: The core issue that's described here should be solved by now (we could not track it down exactly, but it seems to be gone). Can you describe the specific problem you are experiencing?

I'm having an issue where I consistently can not type/delete when I hit Home to go to the start of a line. When typing it acts as if the cursor was at the end of the line and appends to the end or deletes the last character.

Something similar happens to me. When typing the text jumps to a previous version (a few seconds ago). Pressing ctrl+z brings it back, but not always. The cursor also moves around.

Leandro Lanzieri: Are you using multiple tabs of Capacities? This should be resolved if you just have one Capacities tab in your browser open.

Steffen Bleher: Yes, this happens when multiple tabs are opened. I try to avoid it as much as possible, but it would be very useful to be able to have more than one.

Hope there is a solution. Will try the one-Window-Approach.

Thanks for sharing. We'll look into it. Could you try "Settings" > "Restart app" to see if this resolves the problem. Also, there are known issues with multiple Capacities windows open. So please use only one (in best case the app).

Steffen Bleher: Ahh good to know, I had 2 windows open. TY!

I sent an email to team@capacities.io that shows the problem in a video. I hope you are able to fix this, it is blocking major productivity on the site.

Here is an error I saw in the developer tools in chrome:
index12543.js:281 DOMException: Failed to execute 'setStart' on 'Range': The offset 20 is larger than the node's length (1).
