Bring swipe gesture back on android

Swipe gesture to head back was removed which I understand might be due to a technical issue. However the app has become extremely inconvenient because every app I have ever used respects this back gesture. Its muscle memory and extremely natural, and I've never had an issue with how capacities worked before.
Would it be possible to revert?

Disable fullscreen mode in Android app

The Android app seems to be in fullscreen mode, meaning that gesture navigation requires an extra gesture to enable it.
I.e. to go Bank, one has to drag up from bottom then from side, instead of just dragging from the side like normal.
This is incredibly frustrating and sone of the time the back gesture still doesn't do anything and you have to find the correct button in the UI which is not idiomatic on Android.
I understand that there are swipe gestures in the app as well, but these should not conflict with the existing ones in the operating system! :D

Thanks for reporting, we'll discuss this internally.

Luca Joos when you get to the search page you also lose the bottom menu bar when the focus is in the "Search for Content" and you hide the keyboard. Something is a little wonky there, just not sure the correct flow.
Also, it feels like there should be another menu item on the bottom bar that flies out when there is an 'active' note. Something is just slightly off with the UI.
Love the concept, so can't wait to keep playing around.

The app swipes from page to page. From Home to Calendar to Search, then back. It does not work very well either. You almost have to hold for a second, then swipe.
It is very hard to use because of the muscle memory, so I am sticking with the desktop app until this is resolved.

This is quite annoying, especially since that back gesture is the universal way to go back in Android and basically available everywhere.
Right now it looks like the left swipe from the edge brings out the side panel and right swipe brings out the search panel. But, those are already accessible by the bottom nav bar buttons, so it'll be really nice to have a way to disable these edge swipe gestures and use the android back gesture instead.

Chinmay Garg and its insanely hard to get used to, this is such an anti-pattern!
