OpenAI's Whisper model does a great job at taking voice recordings and transcribing them perfectly. This can be great for transcribing meetings or voice notes for quick capture. It would even be cool to take voice recordings from Telegram voice notes or WhatsApp.

I journal daily trough Voicenotes which became a major part of my note-taking. Having transcription in capacities would be awesome.

You already have the Whatsapp Integration, which I love!
It would be amazing to add transcriptions for those too.
Then I could just send myself tasks, ideas etc. in the car or on the run and sort them out later in the office.

Merged in a post:
a voice recorder tool with speech to text integration to be able to record quick thoughts on the spot and automatically have the transcript in plain text

probably it's expensive to implement this, at first it could be an only pro version feature.

Totaly agree:
Add the ability to record and submit voice messages on iPhone, with automatic AI-generated transcripts.
I am missing this features (comming from Reflect). It works wonders on your iPhone to quickly jot things down.

Tested voicenotes and it´s a game changer feature.
You guys really should add this in your roadmap - would use way more than actual AI feature.

I am coming over to Capacities from Reflect - this is the primary feature that I'm missing... it was incredibly useful to record a voice memo and have it transcribed. -- I could also do a transcription of a meeting's audio or the audio from a Youtube video - and then run an AI command to adapt to structured notes or an overview.

Andrew Brown same! I would love to keep this feature as it is the one thing causing me to teeter between the two.

Andrew Brown same here. I’m coming over from Reflect and I miss the voice audio notes which were super helpful.
Tana also has this with a meeting agent.

YES -- PTAL at how tana did it w/tana capture. it doesn't do it by default so it reduces costs. user has to initiate transcription action

I would use this everyday!

The implementation in reflect.app is really neat and would be awesome for capacities as information capture option
