Android/iOS Widgets or Quick Tile
J
Joshua Owens
My work flow throughout the day has been to capture info as quickly as possible. Currently I have created a TickTick quick tile on my Pixel. So even with the phone still locked, I can swipe down, click the tile, capture an idea. It's quick and easy and I can do it when I drive, am walking, or even feeding my little toddler for dinner.
But because I have been trying to create my second brain within Capacities, this always means then transferring those quick captures here. So a quick tile and/or widget would really be great. A widget would probably be the more likely way to go on mobile because they can be created for Android and iOS users.

A widget for mobile versions with "quick capture" is something very important. Something similar to what "Remember the Milk" have, with an option to choose on which type the quick notes should go.

+1, it would be great to have an Android widget that contains a single pinned object or the current Daily Note. It doesn't need to be interactive, it could just be a truncated preview of the contents (it could even use the same customization as the card view on desktop) and tapping on it opens that object in the app.

iOS/iPadOS Lockscreen Controls

Is it possible to get an iOS / iPadOS Lockscreen Control to launch the today view, and ideally another to launch a specified object/view etc?
Eg, I have a 'Home' page which has views of my #opentasks, bookmarks, and recent projects

A massive improvement in my opinion would be a possibility to put some notes in widgets, for example a shopping list or daily tasks. Im grateful for this app though. Have a good one.

Capacities Mini Mobile Widget

I use capacities as more than just a information management tool - project management, daily note, task management, etc. At times I have status tags linked to each of these. I would love to have certain mobile widgets that allow me to make it all even more accessible. Like having a widget that allows me to pin and show content of certain tags (For Example, Tag named as ongoing, which defines the projects that I am currently working on). This could just be a list view. Or maybe I can get a list view of the contents of any query that I have saved. I have widgets that are first on the screen whenever I unlock my phone. This allows me to always remember every important information first without a miss. Doing the same to capacities would be good.

Would be amazing to have a widget on our phones for quick capture! Making it easier to store notes instead of a daily note :). Loving this app.
