Stuck in an authentication loop with web extension
closed

When I click the Chrome extension, it flashes up with "not authenticated" and opens a browser tab for me to log in, but I'm already logged in. It does this continually, so I still can't use the browser extension. I tried reinstalling it to no avail.

Hello Capacities team,
I have installed the web extender on Firefox and it is not working [uninstalled and reinstalled twice]. Attached is a screenshot of what response I get.

Try this!
After disabling every shield, restriction, and block possible, and still stuck in the loop. (Brave browser)
I tried signing out, then logging in and authenticating through the web extension, and it eventually worked. Thanks to Min Lee's comment on the Chrome Webstore.

Even though Capacities is logged in on Safari and on the desktop app, the web extension repeatedly asks for Capacities login and never gets to clip the link. Safari 18.1 (20619.2.8.11.9) on macOS 15.1

Vivaldi and Web Browser Extension
R
Rob Heckart
Vivaldi Browser Version: 6.8.3381.53 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
OS: Windows 11 Version 23H2 (Build 22631.4037)
Expected Behavior: Clicking on the browser extension should allow for saving web page to Capacities.
Actual Behavior: A modal box appears saying that Not Authenticated appear, even though I am authenticated into Capacities Web. In the background, a new tab opens and I am presented with the Capacities Welcome/Choose your Space page, also indicating that I am logged in.
Solutions Tried: Clearing cookies and re-logging into the Capacities Web Site. That works for a little bit and then the extension reverts to the issue again.

[BUG] Web Extensions | Not authenticated
A
Aleksandar Tasic
Pressing the web extension briefly shows a "Not authenticated" error message, asking me to log in to Capacities, before very quickly (after 1-2 seconds) sends me to the web version of the app, where I am already logged in.
No matter what I try (removing and re-installing the extension, logging out and back in) I am unable to use the web extension.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Web Extension doesn't work

I use the app on my MAC and I installed the web extension in Safari. When I want to use it I get the prompt to sign in to capacities. When I do this I get an empty space and still can't clip the page to my web extentions.
