It appears that, although the synching is noted and seems to have completed its cycle, my android app has only updated through August 25th - and does not include the work I did on September 1 - today. I have reloaded several times. I have waited a few hours with the app open. I have closed the open web app I had on my computer. The update has not happened. Thanks.

My iPhone still has an outdated version of the daily template. I can’t get it to update. Synchronization errors usually prompt the question of which version (local or remote) to retain, but not for templates. How can this be fixed?

I keep experiencing the same issues. Content and filters do not sync properly across devices and the web version. I am tired of losing my content and customized filters (smart collections). Since the summer update that introduced offline storage, I’ve lost any sense of data security. At any moment, I feel I could lose my entire system, all my work, and projects. This lack of reliability is reflected throughout the app:
- Not sended messages to the AI assistant get erased when switching tabs.
- When deleting content, a prompt often appears, asking if I want to delete the data everywhere, not just here. Why?
- Working with the text editor also leads to data loss, and using CMD+Z does not reliably restore changes.
Please fix these essential functions. I’m already considering switching to other applications because of these issues.

About 8 hours ago, I created three new weblinks on the web app using the Zen browser. Now when I open the web app in the Edge browser, I can't see any of them. I've tried refreshing, and also reloading the app via settings, but it makes no difference. They are still visible when using the Zen browser.

Luca Joos I've checked Zen, Edge, Firefox and Chrome, and only Edge had this problem. I can see all weblinks in the other browers.

If I add a tag using a browser extension (safari in my case), the tag is not displayed in the tags section, it cannot be deleted, it can be presented in 2, 3 or more copies. If you add a tag through the app or web interface, everything happens correctly. This is clearly not expected behaviour, right?

I could not reproduce this issue. Could you try "Settings > Account > Reboot"? Does this fix your issue?

Steffen Bleher: on iPhone the reboot helps, because it does remove all data and reloads from scratch. For now this seems the only way to get templates updated. Please advice if there is another way.

Maybe a sideline, but there are also update / sync issues in between devices. When switching from desktop to laptop 1 and laptop 2 and back etc. Sometimes the notes (including daily notes) are not updated and synced. While other times it is almost live updates cross devices.
When updates / syncing seem to be put on hold, there is no way to fix it. 'Reload' doesnot do the trick. 'Reboot' doesnot seem to work. And then in the pop-up you can 'restart' or 'logout and restart'. Restart doesnot work either and 'logout and restart' will cause a crash. After restarting by hand and log in, it is fixed again.
The syncing experience is not always as intended.
Maybe this is related to the first question?

Steffen Bleher: I have got issues with syncing across devices. From desktop at the office to the desktop at home for instance. There is no button to refresh, reload (does nothing in the menu). I even consider removing and installing the app again everytime I switch from computer. This should be fixed because it virtually makes the app useless.

Steffen Bleher I tried Reboot on the iPhone and that worked! On the PC Desktop version there is just 'reload app' and that does not appear to do anything. What works though is loging out (removes all the data) and logging in again. But this is time consuming.

Hi Steffen Bleher This needs the highest priority attention, I think. This is my first month in Capacities (Pro), and the inconsistent syncing may prevent me from continuing porting over from Obsidian. This morning I have three different versions on three different interfaces (web, laptop, desktop). I use an Inbox tag to process new content (which is very important as I bring notes over), and the web shows 18 items tagged Inbox, the desktop app shows 20, and the laptop correctly shows 72 items. Meanwhile, I created 110 new objects on my laptop last night, but the desktop and web apps only had the previous 16 objects of the same type. Even after I open and close all three apps multiple times, the new objects finally come across to the other devices/applications, but the Inbox tags do not. Finally, date references with ranges appear on daily note on the laptop and desktop, but not on the web app. Thanks for all you are doing, but please prioritize this.
EDIT: To be clear, I have quit and re-opened applications, reloaded the app from the Settings, etc. I even deleted the Inbox tag query and created a new one, but am now getting 34 tagged objects in both the query and the tag list. And the new objects that finally came across to be desktop have disappeared again. #SUPERFrustrating
EDIT: I can confirm Anthony's result - What works is completely logging out and logging back in again. But as he also points out, this is time-consuming and not what a user expects,

I know it is 'in progress' but would like to add that if a refresh button would exist and be operational (worked) it would be fixed for all I am concerned. Something like CMD / CTRL + R or something.
It is still hapening and I have tried to leave Capacities open for a while waiting for a refresh to take place naturally, but it does not (or not always) even after an hour.

I wish Capacities would take a moment before opening to sync and/or flash a message somewhere that it's syncing because it is so frustrating to open a page that doesn't reflect the changes made on another device and then wait to see if the changes were lost or not.

I decided to work from the Mac app and then began seeing sync issues which I had never noticed before. Notes changed a few days ago are not updated on the Mac app and a conflict dialogue is not popping up even though the notes are different between web app and MacOS app - okay the conflict dialogue just popped up after around 20 minutes - I was expecting this to be immediate or for there to be a notification that sync wasn't complete

On the desktop, I upload a PDF and it shows up in my calendar as an item added today. I open the iOS app (it's not open or in the background), click into my today calendar and the item that I added is not there. Clicking around to other pages and back to calendar does not make the item show up. I click to reload the app on my device and then the item shows up in my today calendar page.
