Media Not Loading on Android
in progress

On the Android app no images are loading this includes the images page and the cover images in other objects. I have tried rebooting the app using the option in the menu as well as logging out and in but those have not resolved the problem.

FYI: We have reworked a number of parts of the media infrastructure on both the server and client side and hope that this will resolve the issues. The changes in the app are expected to be released in the next few hours. I will let you know here as soon as it is ready.

I just installed the android app v1.45.22 and can confirm that no media files are downloaded. Neither reloading the app nor re-downloading media files in the settings window solves the issue.
My device: Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 with Android Version 13

After restarting my smartphone the capacities app downloaded all media files :-)

It really does seem to be a structural problem. After the android app also seemed to repair itself almost magically, I am having the same problems again. I did a test by uninstalling the app from my phone and then reinstalling it. Now the problem is back from the start. PDFs and photos are not loading and are therefore not readable. Media storage hangs at 34.9 kb.

Hi, after updating just now to 1.45.22 - I found immediately after update, that the Samsung S8 tablet (previously referred to here) started to correctly show all images that had just been placeholders before the update.
However, when I applied the same 1.45.22 update to the Samsung S23Ultra smartphone, nothing changed and it is just as before. I "reloaded" app, and also logged out and back in again, but no change. Screenshots below.
Also, while Capacities is fine on Windows PC (installed software) as a test, I tried logging in to Capacities on a browser (Firefox 135.0) and this also failed to show images properly.
Screenshot of Capcities via browser is also included below.
And the Samsung S4 tablet that "magically corrected itself" a few days ago without needing an update, all of a sudden - remains fine and working regarding missing images, even after update to 1.45.22.
Conclusion: only one device - Samsung S8 tablet has corrected itself, immediately upon update.

On Android, images included from the Photo Collection or taken via Take Photo are not appearing anywhere.
In Settings, under Offline & Sync, a message appears stating that media could not be downloaded.
On Windows, I tested: uploading a photo on PC1 showed up on PC2 and vice versa, but it did not appear on Android.

Some images in my Android app cannot be displayed, but both the desktop and web versions work fine. I have tried the 'Media Download' option in the Android app, but it keeps failing. This issue affects my willingness to use capacities.io. Could you help me resolve this problem? Thank you!

Additional info after my last post (Previous: 21st January)
I had reported that it 'may' have been related to Samsung S4 tablet crashing - leading to repeated failure to render images after that.
I conclude this was wrong, because suddenly, with no actions on my part to the best of my knowledge, this seems to present as a "roving" issue, where the originally impacted S4 tablet has completely corrected itself, and now the issue has moved entirely to a different tablet, a Samsung S8 (Screenshots attached), and also a Samsung S23Ultra Smartphone.
Yet the original S4 tablet is now fine again, and so is the Windows PC. (The Windows PC never had suffered this issue)
The images attached below are both the Samsungs S8 and S23Ultra, and those now won't render images properly (instead! of the originally affected device)
The version is 1.44.34
It is a bit disconcerting to have broken images with placeholder, that now seem to be randomly moving from one device to another.
Certain posters are saying all seems ok now, but I can report that nothing is corrected for me at least.

EDIT: By the way, please note how my screenshot of S23Ultra is showing identically to a recent post by -> Urban Bäcklund. Instead of images, just "separated lines" with no images between them.
EDIT: Also look below at -> Oleksandr Zalishchuk. It is showing identically with the same problem for me, as it is for him.
